General Events and Activities
Each year the PTA holds a gift auction; this fun evening is our largest fundraiser of the year. Since 2012, the theme has been an evening of Comedy. Gift baskets filled with donations from district families, area businesses, and corporate donations are auctioned to guests. Two comedians perform after guests enjoy a buffet dinner. The evening is filled with great raffle baskets, great companionship and an extraordinary amount of laughter. PTA volunteers organize all aspects of the event, including venue choice, gift basket coordination, sponsorships and more. Current venue is Eagle Oaks Country Club.

Applebee’s FlapJack Fundraiser
In the winter, the PTA holds a flapjack fundraiser at Applebee’s. Teachers and PTA volunteers help greet guests and serve. A fun Sunday morning with the family!
Tinton Falls PTA awards grants for programs or supplies not ordinarily available through district funding. All teachers and staff members are eligible to submit requests. A committee of PTA volunteers is formed each year to review the applications and determine which ones will be awarded grant money. In prior years, this program has funded things like microscopes for the science department, a sound system for the music department, computer programs for the computer lab and various teacher-requested items like nonfiction books and books with audiotapes. This year, the PTA will be awarding up to $10,000 in grant money.
Coupon Book Fundraiser
The PTA sells KidStuff coupon books at the beginning of the school year as a fundraiser. These books offer valuable coupons for area shopping, restaurants and activities, and it has often been said that the book quickly pays for itself. PTA volunteers help distribute books and collect orders and returned books.
Charleston Wrap Fundraiser
Held at the beginning of each year, the Charleston Wrap fundraiser offers great gift ideas for your family, teachers and many others on your holiday lists. This is one of our largest fundraisers for the year. PTA volunteers help distribute information, collect orders and distribute products.
B&N Winter Extravaganza
Held annually now for 3 years, the PTA hosts a winter event at B&N. Teachers from MFA read books in the children’s section, the middle school chorus performs, and Miss Mary of Smoke and Mirrors performs with her band! Special coffee and cocoa drinks are available at the cafe and all purchases help benefit the PTA.
Box tops are collected monthly to raise money for each school. Children who collect the most box tops are awarded prizes.
