MFA Class Parents
Class parents are a liaison between the classroom teacher, the PTA and school families. Class parents work with the teacher to help coordinate any in-school events and virtual events. For example, at the teacher’s direction, class parents may help organize class parties, holiday activities and related events. In addition, class parents communicate with other parents of the children in the class, informing them of event details and helping coordinate any food and beverage donations that are needed.
In addition, class parents are in charge of collecting and organizing parent donations for any PTA fundraisers. Two class parents will be assigned to each class depending on teacher requests. Assignments are at random and all are sent to administration before final selections are made and notified.
